News: Alexia Designs Operation Manager, Jenna Whatmough is pregnant. (Apr/17)

Our operations manager Jenna Whatmough has recently announced that she is pregnant. Expected to give birth in October 2015, Jenna will be working her last weekend at The Harrogate Bridal Show in September. Don’t worry Jen will still be around at our party on the Sunday evening at Harrogate as she will not be missing the Gary Barlow tribute for anything!

Although Jen will be on maternity leave she won’t ever be too far away. At the end of 2013 many of you will know that we moved and our new headquarters are only in the next town to Jenna so she will be popping in for a cup of tea and a catch up on a regular basis.

Jenna says:  “Wayne and I are really excited about having another baby and the boys are ecstatic. Harry turns four in July and starts school in September so I feel like this is the perfect time to add to our brood. I haven’t made a final decision on how much time I’m going to take on maternity leave yet but I know that you’re all in very good hands with Claire and the rest of the girls in the office. They’re a really good bunch and are passionate about their jobs which makes me feel a lot more at ease about being away from the office. We’re also in the middle of recruiting another two employees so by the time I leave there will be eight people here to share my workload. I really hope to see as many of our stockists as possible at The Harrogate Bridal Show on the Sunday for afternoon tea and cake ;)”
